PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Steelers were held out of the end zone in a 30-6 loss to the Houston Texans on Monday night in the AFC Wild Card round, ending their season without a playoff win for the ninth straight season.

Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels will be coaching against his brother Ben, the Texans' wide receivers coach and offensive passing game coordinator.

In their AFC playoff game on Sunday against the New England Patriots, the Texans could be playing in a snow game of their own, although not quite as bad. According to the National Weather Service, rain and snow are likely on Saturday, becoming all snow after 4 p.m. On game day, there is a chance of snow before noon and then again after 3 p.m.

FOXBOROUGH - Drake Maye offered a compelling reason to be smart about when to take off and run with the football in Sunday’s AFC Divisional Round game against the Houston Texans. Their linebackers show no mercy. Maye said they fly around and make sure to punish any and all ball carriers, including the quarterback.

The Texans move on to face the Patriots in the divisional round after their defense throttled the Steelers on Monday.
