Vinyl soffit isn’t used in my area. We use aluminum soffit typically. I use a narrow crown stapler for the install with 1” staples. The fascia lip will overlap and cover the staple heads. This fascia varied from 21” - 25” throughout this job, so it’s a good thing the fascia lip is 1.5”.
